With all the race and gender issues on display in our world today, he decided to take a less publicized approach by spotlighting the work of the veteran population and their lack of Hollywood representation. Battleborne Comics stands with ALL underrepresented demographics regardless of race, gender, orientation or political affiliation.

“A bumbling, sad-sack assassin learns a life lesson when he’s sent to slay the teacher who failed him in middle school”.
Battleborne Comics announces the release of the five minute short, CHAPTER & HEARSE in partnership with the Flip the Script Filmmaking Competition. Chad’s performance has been one we can be proud of to this point, beating out 10 Quarter Finalists to land in the final three. This serves as his directorial debut and our fingers are crossed for him to bring a championship back to base.

We did it folks! Battleborne Comics in partnership with Wordsmith Writers Lab, Mad Panda Labs, and the Flip the Script Filmmaking Competition wrapped a 12 hour shooting day in Chicago, Illinois with two incredibly talented actors and a team of SUPERSTARS! Co-Founder, Chad Ayinde prepared to represent Battleborne Comics at the Colour Reserve Center, Chicago, (IL) in a two week filmmaking competition. Three rounds of cuts for an opportunity to direct a product. Keep an eye on his progress because we think he can do something special! He receives the mystery theme tonight and will only have hours to provide a story, concept and script to the judging panel! Best of luck, Chad…. The foxhole has your back!

In a major attempt to grow the Battleborne Comics community beyond the pages of our stories, Co-Founder, Chad has taken up a new hobby of screenwriting! Today we congratulate him for his selection as a Quarterfinalist of his first filmmaking competition!
He will travel to Chicago with 13 other creators for a chance to write and direct a fully funded story short that he designs!
